Randy Price

Landscape Architect Intern

Kimberly J. Wicker, RLA, LEED AP Landscape architect intern, Randy Price, is from Cary, North Carolina. He has experienced many changes to the region over the years, and has seen the affects of land development on communities. Much of Randy’s professional experience is in chemistry and pharmaceutical research at Research Triangle Institute, but he felt passionate about the land planning process and enrolled in college as an adult to pursue a career in landscape architecture. Randy studied landscape architecture to be part of the process that helps make a community great: Creating special places to live with successful and connected parks and open space, and a community that is engaged in social issues, now and in the future. He understands that a balance between growth and preservation of natural areas is crucial to the land development process.

Randy’s role at Coaly Design is aiding in design and production of park and master planning projects including wet detention pond planting plans, tree conservation plans, and site design.

Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, December 2008. Architectural AutoCAD Drafting Certification, Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh, NC, 1993.
